The month of October along the Oohi River ended in permanent change for its residents and the animals that live in East Cardinal. Join Violet and her fluffy crew as she navigates change thrust upon her in this adventure.
From finding a new home for her donkey friend Einstein to managing her anxiety and relationships Violet stays busy running The Vintage Kitten Craft Lodge and collaborating with the Oohi River Rats to demand future change related to the transportation of hazardous materials.
An Excerpt from the Third Chapter Titled: The Silent War Between Frenemies

The church bell ringing from the chapel down the street encouraged Einstein to sing along on this crisp, sun filled morning. Violet wasn't sure anyone else found it as charming as she did. She took a moment to close her eyes and appreciate the beautiful peace that surrounded her. Breathe in through the nose, hold for five, out through the mouth. Meditation made every day easier for Violet.
"Aww," escaped her yawn as she stretched toward the ceiling and slipped out of bed into a moss green denim jump suit. She quickly grabbed her canvas slip-ons, and made her way toward the front of the craft lodge.
It had been five days since Einstein took residence in the back yard of the craft lodge and no complaints from surrounding neighbors. As Violet walked past the large bay window, the hair raised on the back of her neck with the first sighting. The vapid Valorie Ann Princett had The Vintage Kitten Craft Lodge in her cross hairs as she power walked across the center of town. A few moments later Valorie Ann was standing on the front stoop of The Vintage Kitten about to knock when Violet flew open the door.
